It’s hard to start up a small business, and business classes and workshops are usually costly. Major cities like New York City tend to be far from an exception to this rule, with business classes and workshops easily costing several hundred to thousands, of dollars. Thankfully, some places offer free business classes and seminars.

This includes Brooklyn Public Library’s Business Library, which offers a great variety of classes and workshops that are business related. Another option is The Small Business Development Center, which has a total of over 15 locations in New York, with two of these places in New York City.
